The G&G CM16 Predator is a distinctive Combat Machine platform combining lightweight reinforced polymer construction with modern electronic control systems. Featuring a Predator-style KeyMod handguard and factory-installed ETU and MOSFET electronics, it offers responsive trigger performance, programmable firing modes, and modular accessory capability in a compact skirmish-ready configuration.

The CM16 Predator from G&G Armament builds upon the proven Combat Machine platform by introducing electronic fire control and a distinctive Predator-style handguard design. Designed to remain lightweight while offering advanced functionality, the rifle uses reinforced polymer construction across the receiver and handguard, ensuring durability while keeping overall weight manageable during extended skirmishes.

The rifle’s defining external feature is the Predator-style KeyMod handguard, which extends further along the barrel compared to traditional M4 handguards. This design provides increased support-hand placement options while maintaining a slim, ergonomic profile. The KeyMod mounting interface allows players to attach accessories such as vertical grips, lights, and lasers directly to the handguard without the additional bulk of traditional rail systems.

Along the top of the rifle runs a full-length Picatinny flat-top rail, providing a continuous mounting surface for optics and sight systems. This allows players to customise their sight setup with red dots, magnified optics, or backup iron sights depending on their play style.

Internally, the CM16 Predator features a factory-installed Electronic Trigger Unit (ETU) paired with a MOSFET system. This electronic system improves trigger response while protecting internal electrical components and enabling programmable firing behaviour, including selectable 3-round burst alongside standard semi-automatic and fully automatic firing modes.

The drivetrain is based on the Version 2 gearbox platform supported by 8 mm brass bushings, delivering dependable operation and compatibility with widely available AEG upgrade components. Power is supplied by G&G’s original long-axis motor rated at approximately 18,000 RPM, providing reliable cycling and consistent performance.

Accuracy and range are supported by a 260 mm precision inner barrel paired with an adjustable hop-up chamber, allowing players to fine-tune BB trajectory for improved consistency. The outer barrel is finished with a 14 mm CCW thread, enabling the attachment of suppressors, tracer units, or other muzzle devices.

At the rear of the rifle, a six-position retractable crane stock allows players to adjust the rifle’s length of pull while housing the battery wiring system inside the stock assembly.

Supplied with a 300-round high-capacity magazine, the CM16 Predator delivers extended firing capability while maintaining the lightweight handling and modular adaptability that define the Combat Machine platform.
